Fall Art Exhibit in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The Art Fair runs from September 25 through October 4. Works by the artists will be on display and for sale in selected windows throughout historic downtown Crawfordsville.

Grace Benedict
Currently in Cincinnati, Grace has a figure drawing at Bromwell Art Gallery's "In the Flesh" exhibition until October 23 and a second figure drawing in "Art at the X" Celebrating Women, a National Juried Exhibition at Xavier University from October 2 to Nov 8.
Two other mixed media figure pieces will be exhibited in "Interpretations of the Figure 2009" at the University of Indianapolis from Oct 5 to Nov 2. Three self portraits were accepted to the "Prints and Drawings: Works on Paper" exhibition at the Lubeznik Center for the Arts in Michigan City, IN Oct 17-Jan 10, 2010.

Orie Shafer
The Art Museum of Greater Lafayette’s permanent collection committee voted to purchase a painting for the museum’s collection. Four paintings and their dry media studies are now on view at the Museum. The final selection will be chosen by the committee this month.

Kathleen Kitch and a group of artist friends had a four day art camp for 17 kids, from Warren, Fountain and Tippecanoe, ages 9-14.
Linda Lemar taught hand building and pit firing clay. Kathleen taught a fused glass workshop. Other artists were involved and taught drawing and painting. Plans are in the works to expand the workshop for this underserved group.
